Our packs of cinnamon sticks come with approximately 8-10 sticks roughly 3″ long.
Cinnamon sticks come from the inner bark of tree species from the Cinnamomum genus. The bark from these trees is transformed into cinnamon sticks by being dried out until they curl. Sticks of cinnamon can be used in a wide variety of ways, the most popular being to create cinnamon spice by grinding them down into a powder.
Cinnamon sticks are primarily ground down into a cinnamon powder and used in a variety of different ways, mainly in deserts. Despite this, cinnamon sticks can be used in a variety of different ways. As cinnamon doesn’t dissolve in liquid we recommend using the sticks to infuse flavour into liquids. We recommend infusing it in gravy, honey, and liquors.
